9/28 17 Months (and 1wk, but who's counting)

And getting bigger every day!

9/22 Ruuunnnn

Kaden ran with me today and like always he crossed the finish line first.  Our time was around 32:47, the bad hill and the smaller "rolling hills"  (yes, we do have some hills) in combination with the stroller made for quite the challenge!  After the run, we introduced Kaden to the chik-fil-a cows - he was a little scared, clung on tightly and wouldn't smile.  Cows are fun when they are far away and standing on all four legs like they're supposed too!

9/16 A little monkey!

Kaden is getting to be quite the climber, we've found him in a variety of places.  He has also gotten quite a few bruises on his legs/bumps on his head from his climbing adventures.  But not to worry, offer him a grape or more milk and he's up and back at it in no time.  As you can imagine, the playground is becoming more interesting now that he can climb higher and up surfaces that he used to slide right back down!

9/15 Young Artist At Work

Here's Kaden hard at work one Saturday morning when we went out to breakfast.  It was soooo hot, but he was focused.  We have made several trips to this little restaurant, the rasberry blintzes are quickly becoming a favorite, but Kaden seems to enjoy the bacon and shows no interest in the turkey sausage, pancakes, eggs or anything else for that matter!

9/3 A visit to the Park

A day at the playground not too far from our house!  Kaden is very good at climbing up and sitting down to slide.  This particular park has one of the old, very tall, metal slides that we hope he doesn't discover for a verrry loooong time!
