5.30 Babies...
Playing together with "baby" Mickey
We showed Kaden the ultrasound picture of the new baby - "it's a monkey"...No it's not a monkey..."it's a dinosaur"...no it's a baby...later he said "it's a baby boy"...but the next day it was a dinosaur again.
5.26 Swimming
A fun afternoon at the neighborhood pool...
Toy Bug in a box...Kaden wasn't so sure about this..
5.17 Stickers
Kaden started sticking stickers to his face at Epcot one day...and said "Arghh, I'm a pirate!"
5.3-5.7 Hawaii
So we left Kaden with his grandparents and headed to Hawaii for a conference and some fun. Besides the conference, we ate a lot of good food (The Pineapple Room, Sansei Seafood, Duke's, Dim sum in Chinatown, Yard House, and PF Chang's). One night we went to a luau and one morning, Nate tried surfing. We went out on ocean kayaks for a little while. We also tried snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, unfortunately we didn't have the camera that day. And then of course we walked on the beach a lot.

5.1 Epcot
Kaden spent an afternoon at Epcot with Mommy. He was the customer of the hour at the McDonald's kiosk so not only did we get a large french fry, Kaden also got a free McFlurry, not a little one, a regular one. Even the two of us together couldn't finish it, plus it was so hot that the ice cream melted fast, but Kaden liked it...
The flower festival was in full swing when we were there, Kaden go to see all the flowers and really liked the pirate/peter pan themed playground. And of course we had fun finding Mickey!
5.18 Playing Catch-up
Working hard at catching up the website...the february page is finished. Most of our recent pictures are on flickr, turns out that's good since the computer with all our pictures may be close to its end.
Kaden has us laughing all the time. He says things in the funniest way...
- He sees a nemo fish and says "I found Tebow"
- He likes to say "Go Braves, hit a home run, hit it far."
- He threw the football with his daddy all the way around the neighborhood the other day and after every throw said "aw man."
- He calls grapes - "drapes" and dropped is prounounced in two distinct syllables...Drop-ped.
- He picked up the phone the other day and said "hey wassup"
- We've led him to think hotel room keys are 'tickets' and he plays with them all the time.'
- After we left him for vacation he said "don't say 'bye' to me" and he's started saying "don't say 'no' to me"
- He listens to music when he falls asleep and sometimes he sings the Beatles.
And now he needs to go to bed...
