7/29 Pictures...Yeah!
Kaden says Yeah a lot so I thought it seemed an appropriate title! He's also trying to say "sit" although it comes out "it." He's still not feeling himself, running fevers, fussy. We took him to the doctor today, he got stuck and poked and last but not least he had a chest X-ray and by that point he was totally fed up! Everything came back OK, so hopefully we will be on the road to recovery! He did seem better again tonight. But here's some pictures. The top three in the collage are from today so you can see that he's happy a lot even when he's sick! (Can you find his gatorade blue tongue?)
7/23 Guess who's 15 months old!
Sorry, no new pictures =( hopefully we'll get some up soon. Kaden turned 15 months last week, and was "perfect" at his doctor's appointment! He went with Daddy who said he cried a little when he got his shots but stopped as soon as he saw the motrin bottle.
On Sunday we took him to Red Lobster after church, he had a us laughing so hard - he decided to try to use the fork to eat his popcorn shrimp and he was so focused on the fork that he kept forgetting to chew. As soon as he'd successfully get something on his fork he'd try to put it into his already stuffed mouth!
Now however, he has a GI bug, such a sad little guy...hopefully we will be back to our usual activities soon! He has still had some energy to dance though...I think we have some video to upload later this week.
7/15 Messy Eating
We went out for Wild and Crazy Ice Cream night today! Naturally it's important to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. Kaden really enjoyed himself!
Here's a picture of Kaden really enjoying his PB sandwich...check flickr later this week for some shots of really messy peanut butter fun!
7/8 Havin' Fun
Funny Hat and Shoes that are Way too Big!!
7/7 We're still here...
We have all survived a long week, and hopefully there will be time to get some new pictures up tomorrow but rest and the grocery store are probably the higher priorities. Kaden is learning lots. He is doing okay with the babysitter but his eyes light up when he is home with us. Today he started trying to sign mama and dada, he's almsot got it figured out. And he is saying new words all the time, please, thank you, shoe, bite (as in take a bite/I want a bite)! So many things he says and does are related to food, knows which cabinet his snacks are in and will go stand at the refrigerator if he wants something. And then there are days that he is just plain goofy like when he tries to walk around in our shoes. Oh so much fun! When I'm not so tired and am thinking/remembering clearly, I will write more stories.
And one last thing...
Congratulations to Lynn and Tim on their wedding today, sorry we missed it! I hope it was wonderful!!
