12/26-12/27 More Christmas!

The day after Christmas, we had more family visitors...in the middle are pictures of Kaden after we finally got him to take the outfit from Aunt Charlotte, Uncle Tom, Laurel and Tim, he kept saying sharp because of the pointy design!  He also had fun having Amy and Laurel read to him..  And had fun eating ice cream with his grandparents

 

12/25 MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Kaden's grandparents came and fun was had by all!  We found Kaden a new Thomas the train set, his eyes were so big and his mouth made a perfect "O" every time the train moved.  He was so overwhelmed with everything that he had to take a nap halfway through the morning!

One of the highlights was Kaden's new  drum music toy, he did not want to share the drumsticks!  I found him a remote control car too, but he was scared of it, especially if it came toward him, he liked the cars that he could roll better!  Kaden and daddy were surprised with  a new kite, which they tried to fly with no wind!  And then Kaden promptly fell in the mud in his new clothes -- Oh well!!

 Here is a collection of pictures from our walk down to the playground, Becky and Dave came too.  Kaden had fun throwing his new ball and sliding down the slides.  Later in the day we all had fun playing games.  The last picture to the right is of our house lit up for Christmas.

 

  

12/22  "HO HO HO"

Kaden says "ho, ho, ho" and then laughs this deep laugh, oh so funny.  Sometimes he starts doing that in the back seat and we all end up laughing!  Here we are ate Christmas in Polk City.  Kaden is learning to play the keyboard with Granny, and driving his new big blue truck.

 12/17 Happy Birthday Mommy!

 Kaden enjoyed helping unwrap the presents, but then he wanted to keep them!

 

 

 

 

12/5 Car races!

One day when Kaden was home sick, we had car races up and down the hallway, some of them really go fast down the wood floors.  I would wind up the cars and let 'em go, and then Kaden would bring them back.  In this picture you can't even tell he's sick!  He's gotten to be quite the truck, car, plane lover!  He'll hear a plane and then say "plane, see it?" and make sure that we find it.  Daddy's proud that he tries to say motorcycle and helicopter too.

 

12/7 Popcorn mess!

So he likes to wear his jacket, no it wasn't really that cold in our house, or even outside.  While we weren't paying attention, Kaden found the popcorn bag and dumped it all out!  What a mess!  (which now Kaden says with great emphasis "Whatamess")

12/2 RUN!

We went to run in the Festival of Lights 5k run, the houses were decorated with Christmas lights and there were Christmas carolers.  Plus each runner had jingle bells to put on their shoes.  This picture is from before the run, by the end Kaden and I were both exhausted...but like always, he crossed the finish line first!  And now I see why they don't really want you running with strollers...something about the dark and 2000 runners made it just a little difficult, but it was a nice run! 

12/1 Being silly...

We spent a weekend in St Augustine for intern retreat.  Kaden had  a great time playing with everyone, talking on various people's cell phones and in general keeping us lauging.  Here he is eating daddy's nose with his shark!
