2.9.08-2.11.08 Disney Trip

We made the trip to Disney this weekend so Nate could go to a conference. Kaden and I had a lot of fun exploring by ourselves (with no major accidents, other than ending up at Animal Kingdom one day instead of Magic Kingdome) and then playing with Daddy when his conference ended for the day.

The first day, Aunt Bev and Grandma came to meet us for lunch. For some reason, Kaden had a fever that day and didn't feel so great, hence the look in the picture =( Thankfully he perked up the next day! Grandma found Kaden a Mickey Mouse that talks, he's still sleeping with it =)

Animal Kingdom

These are pictures from the dinasour playground. Kaden couldn't believe it when the dinasour roared when he stepped on the footprints.

Not so sure...

Kaden and I did the Aladdin ride (like Dumbo) by ourselves. He wasn't so sure of the flying carpets! He seemed to like all the rides until we went on the Great Movie ride at MGM. I think my jumping at the noises scared him. But he did like Peter Pan, and wanted to ride again (too bad it had a 60 minute wait). I think the highlight of the trip for Kaden was the Disney Playhouse show at MGM, he loved seeing Mickey, Goofy, Tigger and Pooh. When they'd go off stage, he'd say "Where'd Mickey go?"
